Raised in Mineral Bluff, the son of David and the late Dolores Gibbs

1987 Graduate of Fannin County High School

1992 Bachelor Degree from Georgia Tech in Industrial and Systems Engineering

1992 - 2002 Various positions in Global Telecommunications manufacturing, living and working in Mexico, China, Texas, and England, extensive experience with income statements, balance sheets, and budgets

2002 - 2007 Real Estate Development in the McCaysville area

2007 - present Teacher at Fannin County High School

Earned Masters in Adult and Career Education and Educational Specialist in Teacher Leadership from Valdosta State University

Married to Anne who is an RN and has been teaching nursing at FCHS for 18 years

Served on the School Governance Team at FCHS for two years and the Board of Directors for Georgia Technology Student Association for 3 years.  Currently a member of the FCHS Leadership Team

Serving on the Lake Blue Ridge Civic Association Board of Directors as the Scholarship Coordinator
